Register

If you're 18 — or 17 and will be 18 by Election Day — you can register to vote. It takes only a few minutes online. Many states let you pre-register at 16 or 17 if you're not there yet.

College Students

College students: you can register in the state where you go to school or the state you're from. Pick the one where you'll actually be on Election Day — or request a mail-in ballot from your home state.

Get Ready

Now find out what's on your ballot and where you'll vote. Look up your polling place, see what offices and questions you'll be voting on, and make a plan for Election Day.

Vote

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Vote in person on Election Day, vote early if your state offers it, or vote by mail. Bring an ID if your state requires it. That's it — you showed up.
